Buddies Grill

The food was delicious. They offer free popcorn and quite a list of brews on tap. We had the chicken quesadilla and it had lots of chicken and other fillings. It was also served with salsa and sour cream. The service was a bit slow but as with other places I expect they are operating short staffed. It is a great sports bar. We had gone to have conversation with friends and it was a bit loud and echoy for that.

We have been coming to Buddies since we moved to the Lansing area. The food is always great, but the service is what really stands out to me. Specifically their bartender, Erica. She always goes above and beyond to make sure our drinks are made just the way we like them and she makes sure we always leave with a smile. Best bartender in the Holt/Lansing area. Highly recommend.

7/19/23 Sat out on the patio bc we had our dog with us. Cool, they brought her water and we were alone. Ordered easy stuff Spinach Artichoke dip w/ chips. Was hot bubbly, cheesy on top, very flavorful, but the chips had no flavor at all, no corn taste, no salt, not flour, weird. My man had side of Mac n Cheese, tasted like jazzed up cheez whizz with sprinkles of maybe club crackers. It looked good, but ..... We split the Grilled chicken dinner. 2 breasts, 2 sides and a crusty roll. Chicken was excellent. Perfectly cooked, good sear, very flavorful. I had a side of wild rice, again, nothing, so seasoning of any kind. Sorry sous chef, you need to step it up. Also the Flatbread Cypress is gone. That was the best Balsamic. All in all 👎🥴 Our server was delightful and I tipped her 25% About 2 yrs ago Flatbreads are pretty good. Really like the chicken Alfredo one. Not a big fan of olives though. Wonderful burgers. Nachos are huge, even 1/2 order. Real mashed potatoes.

Went for the first time this weekend and it was awesome. I was a little hesitant since it’s in a strip mall area. We ate in the patio area. Everything was super clean. Destin was a fantastic server, very patient as I sifted through the menu. Jaime was fantastic as our second server. We stayed through the whole server shift. Destin was kind and introduced us to Jaime and made sure that we were good before his shift ended. We plan on coming back because of the delicious food options. I wasn’t able to get a photo of the chili. The chili did have beans (Texans beware), but it was the best chili I’ve ever had. The menu can be visually overwhelming, which makes narrowing down options difficult
