We brought our show to the Brunswick as part of Brighton Fringe and it was a great experience. Andy and the whole team made the experience easy and enjoyable. Some venues can be very hands off and not very supportive of the artists they hire out to, but this is so not the case with The Brunswick. From the bar team to the tech staff everyone was helpful, friendly and responsive and genuinely cared about the event going well. We had some fantastic audiences for our shows and had a great time hanging out in the bar afterwards. Whether you're looking for a comedy, music or theatre show to go see or if you're a performer looking for an artist-friendly venue, I'd definitely recommend The Brunswick. And try the loaded fries!

We came to see a show called "Le Cluck" which was great! Drinks are reasonable, we are still baffled how a double gin and Tonic and a pint was £12! Very impressed! Multiple rounds :) Venue is really nice, bar is a little small and got busy on a sat night, but otherwise all great. Really thankful to Andy who I emailed prior to our visit about my partners broken leg- they had set aside 2 seats for us near the door for easy access in and out. Thanks Andy, we really appreciated this, despite my partner being star of the show with her "12 year broken leg" ha! Also this place is adjacent to "Alice street" so it was a sign for us to come here!

Open mike night can be amazing or amazingly dreadful. Kinda Russian roulette. I come back every few months as you can see some amazing performances. Do you feel lucky?

One of my favourite music venues. There's always something on. Tonight we saw a big jazz band. Good range of drinks and food too

Great venue in the heart of Brighton with an interesting selection of beers alongside the classics. The live music cellar downstairs is very cosy and cool and we saw some great music down there over the weekend. Will be going back next time in Brighton

The bar is good, two alcohol free draft beers is brilliant so that was a huge plus. We went to a show in the cellar bar which wasn't so great. There's no stage and a low ceiling so with two tall people in front you can't see anything!

Cute little place. Nice atmosphere for a few candlelit drinks. Also has two music venues, the on the ground floor one is certainly nicer however. Drinks are surprisingly cheap for Brighton and the quality of bar snacks are very high. Clean bathrooms as well.

I have used the Brunswick cellar bar a couple of times now to host band nights. The experience has always been 100% positive. From the first email to the event itself, the communication is good. Andy Hillion was happy to answer any questions and quick to respond They even set up a we got tickets link for you if required All the bar staff have been friendly and attentive on the night. The sound engineers are very good, big thanks to Matt, who did the sound for Murdock and the Mortals on 21st January it was spot on, and he's a lovely guy. We used him a couple of times, and he really knows his stuff .
