Delicious! The food was amazing, atmosphere was superb and absolutely top notch hospitality. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive (not sure of her name but she had blonde hair with a fringe). You can tell the owner really cares for his patrons as he was connecting with everyone throughout the meal. Charming restaurant and can't wait to come again 😁!

We decided to try this place as it has such good reviews and so glad we did. It’s authentic and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is very typically Italian and warm and the service is professional and welcoming. One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to! Also great it caters to gluten free diets

This lovely authentic Italian restaurant is located in Portslade, and i have to say it's amazing. As soon as you walk through the door, you are always welcomed by the staff . The food is good, old, honest Italian food which is cooked with love and care. The only downside to the restaurant is the size of the dining room. It's a little small, so i guest booking to avoid disappointment !

Popped in yesterday with a friend on a chance. So happy when they managed to squeeze us in. Although they was having a busy Friday night. Service was very attentive and the food was served in good time . We both had the Pollo Milanese, I had the last piece of Banoffee Pie and my friend had Tiramisu. Amazing friendly atmosphere and terrific food 😊

Second lunch here. Lovely restaurant. Nice and small. Owner is super friendly and welcoming. Both times I've had the chicken caesar salad (see photo for beautiful presentation) as it's delicious. This time I had the burrata to start, first time the salmon and prawn cocktail. Both were fresh and light and tasted great. The Pinot Grigio Blush was served cold and really complimented the food. No room for dessert so I can't comment on them. This is somewhere I will definitely not hesitate to visit again (& again!) The only reason I've given 4 stars for the atmosphere is because they were quiet lunchtimes. I'm sure if it's busy it would be buzzing.

Ideal for authentic Italian food more than just pizza and meatballs, the manager and staff give a great relaxed but formal atmosphere. The mussels and pasta had a rich sauce, and a depth to the flavour… if only i took the time to savour it ;) Will be visiting again. This place would be ideal for a business meal, a romantic dinner, or a quiet evening by yourself. (Please bear in mind, for the price we had the three courses each and alcoholic drinks, the prices are very reasonable)

Billy - you never fail to deliver. Your food is phenomenal. Tastes so delicious and the presentation is just as perfect. We visited this evening to celebrate mums birthday. The effort you put in to make people feel welcome and special is unreal. The birthday music and the birthday song sang by all present added that extra special moment. All guests are greeted as soon as they enter the cosy restaurant and many are known to you by name (as returning customers). We have eaten at your restaurant on many occasions now and we shall continue to visit to celebrate our special occasions. Colosseo’s is by far our favourite Italian restaurant. Thank you and your staff for continuing your hard work, delivering magnificent food in a warm, cosy friendly atmosphere. If I could give you more stars then I would. For those of you thinking of trying this restaurant for the first time, all I can say is it won’t be your last , you will not be disappointed and like me, I am sure it will become your favourite Italian dining experience.
