I personally frequent this establishment often why ! Colin the host and his staff are very friendly and offer fantastic value for money and food is good and plentyfull choice of meats and veg what more can I say but great work Colin keep up the good work

Popped in for a drink today with my family and couldn't of felt more welcome.
Both staff and customers were lovely and friendly and there roaring fire was an added bonus.
The landlord was a legend and before we left he dressed up as Santa for my children and gave all the children a gift.
We didn't eat but the food that came out looked and smelt great.
If your looking for a boozer with charm and warmth give it a whirl.
Cheers landlord not many old school publicans left, keep it real.

Had a lovely Carvery for £5 , decor probably the same as it was 20 years ago , but food tasty , staff were very friendly and actually seemed to care that you enjoyed what they were doing. It might not look all shiny and new, but £5 Carvery well worth it . Proper home cooked food for less than a Mc Donald’s , will definitely be going back . Thank you .

Lovely carvery at a fantastic price.
There's always lots to choose from and the meats are always succulent and juicy. Veg is cooked perfectly and staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Looks a bit faded and worn from the exterior of the building but interior ok. Carvery was absolutely delicious. Loads of fresh veg and 3 meats at least to choose from. Excellent value for money
