We were staying locally and went to Hodsons to eat in last night . We had medium cod, chips and mushy peas. It was the best we have had in years. The fish was freshly cooked.The batter was very light, crispy and tasty. The fish was so white and fresh and perfectly cooked. The chips were again freshly cooked and done to perfection and the mushy peas were tasty. To finish off the cup of tea was really good.
The guy frying was friendly and checked on us to ask if everything was OK. The server was a really pleasant lady who couldn’t have been more helpful.
If we lived in Hartford or Huntingdon we would certainly be regular customers.

Lovely cod and chips. Crispy Batter and chunky cod. Lovely size portions. Beautiful, freshly cooked. Chips were perfectly cooked and crispy. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
