Walked in on a Friday evening and luckily enough got a table. Staff seated us promptly, whilst being really welcoming and friendly. Ordered a regular fish and chips and a freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff member serving us was very attentive and polite. After a short wait the food arrived and the fish was lovely, battered and fried to perfection. I felt the chips were maybe *slightly* undercooked for my liking whilst also the portion was a little small (especially for a ‘regular’). The fish was a decent size, however. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and did lovely. I do feel, however, the meal is overpriced. These 2 items cost almost £20, which is a bit steep. Overall, a really nice local takeaway for your fish and chips fix. If the pricing was more attractive, I would probably visit more often. Good food nonetheless.

We got classic fish and chips (small) with side of curry sauce. And lab ribs that came on pita bread. They provide a side of sauces which are very delicious, not ur standard ketchup mayo. Definitely good quality. Recommend.

We had enjoyed dining in at Serene Fish & Chips. The food was exceptional. Everything was fresh. They serve the best fish and chips. The cod fish batter is so light and crispy. The lamb shish was also very tasty. The staff were friendly. We will definitely go back again.
