Fish well cooked. Nice chips. Before we went there was atleast one place on the internet that said you could eat in. But if that area existed it wasn't open late evening when we went. That wasn't clear online. Otherwise no complaints.

Not a very fish and chips person but since we were by the coast we thought we'd have some nice fresh fish. Looked in Google for somewhere nice to eat and found Maddy's. Went there and didn't convince me from the outside but decided to give it a go. What a good choice!!! Best fish and chips I've ever tried, 0 oily, chips were perfect, fish was so crunchy, a lot of food so if you're hungry this is your place. The place looks a bit old but it's lovely and the waitress was so friendly. Would recommend 100%!!

Our very large group were staying in ilfracombe for a wedding and we placed an order for over 40 portions of fish and chips
They managed to complete the order on time with zero mistakes and even delivered it to us
All very smooth and efficient
More importantly the food was delicious

Wasnt very happy with our meal and called and the owner was a very well mannered man who sent us the meal again and refunded money aswel which i said he didnt have to but he did .the meal was cooked to perfection . I only order out maddies when i get deliverys .The best fish and chips in town.thank yous.

Needed a good hearty fish and chip supper and Maddys Chippy did the job. Ordered takeout fish and chips - the chips were prefect. The fish was flaking and battered to perfection, light and crisp. Excellent fish and chips!

The Fish and Chips were the best we have ever tasted.
Fresh white Cod and Perfect chips we didn't really think you get this quality anymore
Great cold glass of Savignon to wash down

We live in Worcester and just wish we could get that quality up here
