Coffee Break

Excellent place to take a coffee break! We both had the Cappuccino and it was excellent. Just about every table was full of friends, new and old. We would have stayed many more hours and talked but one principal of travel is time management. If you haven’t been, you need to go. If you have been, you need to go back. We certainly will the next time we are in the area. Keep up the good work guys!

Updated review January 2023: Visited last week on a very cold Tuesday in the hope of an experience as good as our first one a few years back. We were not disappointed. Coffee Break still offers a warm and friendly welcome which is just what you need on a cold afternoon. I just love that the vegetarian options on the menu aren't the usual, boring 'vegetable lasagne'. The owners of this lovely cafe have taken time to devise an interesting, tasty menu for everyone and it's very much appreciated. I had an avocado & halloumi salad with chips and my husband chose gammon & chips with a flat white to drink. I had a pot of peppermint tea (which actually tasted of the real thing due to it being proper loose leaf tea instead of teabags). Looking forward to coming back soon - hopefully we won't have to leave it so long til then. Original review left in January 2018: Food was inexpensive, tasty and freshly prepared.
