Cock And Pye

I come in here a lot recently after walking past it countless times, it’s a great spot that can easily be missed due to the location but seriously worth going in. I go during the day when it’s more of a restaurant/pub feel, but I know in the late evening it is quite lively with more of a bar/club vibe especially on weekends. It’s a Greene king pub and the menu isn’t massive but it’s got a lot of good dishes on offer. I go for the small plates as it’s great value and the options are expansive. The staff are always lovely, all seem to know very well their craft. Atmosphere is usually chilled unless it’s game day, the decor is very chic and nice for a pub!

Staff really hard working and efficient. Food was poor, sorry. Over cooked steak, sliced up and shriveled when served covered in pesto. I don't mind pesto but you should ask what sauce people want on steak. Wilted salad. Fries were gorgeous. We'd pre booked but not been told pudding stopped being served at a certain time so alot of is left a bit hungry still. Everyone else in my party had a burger that they loved though. Drinks reasonably priced.
