Great service from bartender Paul, very accommodating. Good pour. The hottest wings I ever had. (I challenge you) actual healthy options on menu. Baked haddock on white bread surprised at how good. Will be back

We love this place. So down to earth. Great people, drinks, billiards, Touchtunes, and pub grub!

Local sports bar with a big bar, plenty of high tops, big TVs, and a pool table.
Game 1 for the B’s playoffs and this place was packed. Ton of TVs and plenty of tables and chairs to squeeze in.
Beers weren’t ice cold but they were cold...ish. Gotta upgrade those fridges. Wings came out warm but not hot. Bunch of good sauces, they were tasty. Grabbed some cheese bites that were real good. Again tho, need cold beer.
All in all a decent spot for some bar grub, but I got a Sam Adams from the tap that again wasn’t that cold and then switched to a bud heavy bottle that was cold...ish.
Service was quick, at least the beers came out quick (probably right outta a rack)....

I want to thank the owners of the Ipswich Tavern! We needed to put together a Celebration of Life for my step-father on rather short notice while my mother was here from Florida. They came to the rescue with a comfortable space, great food, and quality service. They were right there serving drinks and food all night. I can't thank them enough for making a difficult time that much better:)! The Allie & Clasby Family

Great place to go have fun

Now the Ipswich Tavern. Really friendly waitress/bartender. Typically get the True North IPA for a drink and have enjoyed the chicken caesar wrap, thai sweet chili wings and mozzarella sticks. Have only dined on the patio, but they've made some updates to the interior as well.

I've been here a handful of times now in the evening after dinner for a couple drinks and it seems to get rowdy with some of the local crowd. The groups in there are usually split between younger folks around the 7ft coin operated pool table and older townspeople at the bar. I've seen 2 altercations break out while here, but nothing serious. The drinks were reasonably priced, and the time I was there the bathrooms were in need of a bit of cleaning. This is a local watering hole and fits the bill for many.

Good for a drink and keno. Better than it used to be as the sports bar. But not always the nicest crowed. Good bar and bartenders though.
