Best supermarket in Kendal....Booths second, Aldi third. It's spacious, great choice, reasonably priced, good organic options, good service with friendly staff and no annoying music/speaker noise.

Always reliable for those items you may not get elsewhere. Great clothes and homeware too. Pleasant staff.

Easy to shop, good daily reduction, helpful staff, clothing and footwear for the family with an Argos inside the store

Great place to shop! Really spacious and very clean, vast range of products at competitive prices .

I switched from shopping at Aldi to Sainsbury's in Kendal for my weekly groceries. Aldi's prices were increasing, and their selection was limited, so I decided to give Sainsbury's a try. The prices are reasonable, and having a Nectar account for deals is beneficial. Sainsbury's offers a great variety of items in a clean, well-organized store, and the staff are very friendly.

A lot less chaotic than Asda or Morrisons or aldi. It's a little more expensive but worth the nectar card it's about on par.

Sainsbury Kendal. A much nicer experience than in North Wiltshire. Very clean and bright with wider isles. We visited early evening and many of the fresh products had already gone for that day, so nice to see their turnover of fresh products is high.

Lovely and quiet in the mornings with the usual great selection one expects from Sainsbury's. Staff helpful and friendly. Love the self checkout option. Watch out for the trolleys, though! They need a £1 coin to operate, which I haven't come across for a long time.

More expensive than the others but the shop is always tidy, the isles are wider and you don't get loads of click and collect pickers crowding them. Car park is good with decent size spaces. Visit from time to time for a change and different choices
