Hourglass Coffee Co.

Stopped by this stand on a whim one day about a year ago, and now I visit several times a week. Not only are the ladies who run this place some of the nicest people I know, but they make some of the best coffee I’ve had since moving to Washington. I am an avid Starbucks avoider because I’m sensitive to espresso tasting burnt (and supporting small business is always better!), but my lattes here always taste like perfection. The baristas are always mindful of the best quality, and frequently ask me to taste my drink before leaving so they know I’m happy with it. At this point though, I just laugh when they ask that because I have yet to be served a bad coffee. I love this place!

The New Orleans iced coffee was one smooth, not too sugary, delicious drink that gave me energy to dance until the wee hours of the morning. Blue Bottle was a very clean space with reclaimed wood and the coffee is some of the best in WA. I came in for a specific purpose and while I didn't try their coffee black (a small regret), I loved the New Orleans and just how balanced that cup was with the small amount of sweetness. Delicious!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful and wonderful coffee place. The customer service experience and the coffee alone deserve five stars but the expedient and nice lady that served us today on our first-ever coffee shop of Seattle was more than welcoming us into the region. We will continue to visit this place again and come back for the chocolate covered coffee beans as well!

This is the kind of coffee shop that makes velvety smooth yet robust coffee. Plus you get two chocolate covered espresso beans on top of your coffee just as a nice thank you. The people who work there are so kind they make your day a little nicer just to talk to them. I'm not advertising for them, I'm simply stating the facts. They have a nice selection of breakfast items and they are very well priced. I personally tried the parfait and thought it was great.

I had the best cup of coffee I've ever had South of Seattle here today, topped with two white chocolate espresso beans & two treats for my puppy!! My barista was incredibly friendly and welcoming, her & her coffee (which she requested that I tried before driving away to make sure it was up to par) made a lasting enough impression, enough that I just had to write a review. I'll be back again soon.

The name has changed to wide eye coffee and it was the most pleasant experience I have ever had. It was incredibly smooth and the lady's working were so nice. They measured out my cream and even asked if I wanted just a few ice cubes because their water was so hot. And to top it off they threw in a couple espresso beans. I wish I lived closer so I could come here often.

This will forever be my go-to coffee shop in this area. The best coffee made by the best baristas! My co-workers and I used to go here regularly. The company that I worked for ended up shutting down in December of last year. After 6 months of not going to Wide Eye, I decided to stop by the other day. They not only remembered me, but called me by my first name, asked how life was going after the company went under and asked about my old co-workers (also by name). Hands down the best customer service I have ever received anywhere. Oh yeah, the coffee is also the best coffee I have had anywhere. Top notch business all the way around.
