Last year when we visited the pub was being refurbished and was closed.
We think there are new owners as the menu has completely changed, and now the outside seating area has heaters. …
Stopped off here for food and drinks. It was busy but there was a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It was easy to talk and enjoy the pub. The beer was great and refreshing. My fish and chips was very filling and tasty with a great portion size. Would recommend and return.

Couldn't get in to the dog and gunn next door. Popped in here and pleasantly surprised. We stopped for a drink in here and was good. Opted for some home made pork scratchings with apple sauce. Very tasty light and airy. Very very good.
