Managed to get a table walking in on a Sunday. Really convenient walking distance from Kew Gardens.
Staff were friendly and food arrived pretty quickly. The steak and ale pie was really good, as was the mash. My partner really enjoyed her vegetarian roast too.
Atmosphere is lovely, something quite nice about being able to watch the trains going past while eating.
What a great spot and a lovely pub. The indoor seating area has a large glass window and a direct view of the platform and station - it was cool to watch the trains come and go. The front outside has a lovely sheltered courtyard with lots of plants. Felt like we were on the streets on holiday somewhere. Good selection of beers on tap and lots of gins for a summer day. Nice decor and toilets. Didn’t eat but the food we saw looked lovely.
Nice pub, directly next to the Highbury train station. It has a beer garden, outside space & the actual pub/bar & dining area. You can see the station from the windows, which is kind of cool. Great atmosphere, nice staff. The pub is accessible to the wheelchairs but the toilets are downstairs. There was a baby changing table in the ladies. Families welcomed. The drinks were standard cost £, food was expensive.
