Minerva

Out on a walk and stopped off for lunch, we hadn't booked but we were quickly seated at a table, really friendly staff. The food was spot on we ordered goats cheese salad and fish and chips both were excellent, the atmosphere was chilled and relaxing. We really enjoyed the Minerva and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This place was FANTASTIC! I was visiting family near hull and Google best roast dinner in hull . This place was exceptionally good ! I didn’t get the roast dinner as it was past 4pm but I did get an amazing steak and ale pie ! The staff were so sweet , especially one young man behind the bar made sure we got a seat . Next time I will make reservations and get the roast dinner ! An added perk was that they had a room in the back where folk singers get together and play on a Sunday night ! Also super sweet locals to chat too ❤️

I couldn't book online due to the amount of people I was booking on, but I sent an email and received a reply quickly helping us to book. The food was fantastic so good I only managed to take a picture of pudding 🤣 which was also absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the staff were warm and attentive, we will return thank you 🙏

My favourite pub in the whole world!! My goodness I pray I get to own and live in this place one day! Haha The vibe - just amazing! Friendly, welcoming and warm. Such a chilled environment where you can relax and enjoy great drinks and food. The staff - all the staff smile and are happy to help. The food - oh my!!! Gorgeous and such great value. The drinks - I’ve never had a bad pint!!! And the Pepsi is great. Only downside - it’s not great access for disabled people but I’m sure they’d open the bottom door if asked. I cannot recommend this place enough and I encourage anyone to visit (as long as your not a dipstick - don’t want anyone to spoil the vibe).
