Robin's Steakhouse

Lovely food and friendly service. We were brought here whilst on a trip up from the Midlands as a special treat. Everything was excellent except for the wait between courses. It was nearly an hour between the starter and the main course. We had obviously come to a very popular place, on a very busy Friday evening.

Had a delicious meal here for my birthday! The steak and chips were perfect as was my starter of scallops. There's also a really great gin menu! Staff were really friendly and there was a nice cosy atmosphere. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that we weren't offered any deserts at the end of our meal, we assumed they maybe just don't do deserts but I've since seen other reviews saying how lovely these are, so disappointed we didn't get to try them!

I came in and it was very cosy a small but nice place. I could tell there was a lot of thought that was put into the layout and it payed off. the staff were eager to help and communicate with the customers. They was friendly and very kind. We ordered our meals and when they came they was well presented and intreeged my family. I ordered the steak and I was a bit thrown off with the medium rare look so me being picky I asked if they could cook it for longer and they was super nice and had no problem with making it to how I preferred. I 100% recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a good quality meal and the prices reflect how delicious the food is.

Went for a private function for my girlfriends 30th birthday. We had the whole of the upstairs including a small bar to ourselves. The decoration and atmosphere was nice and welcoming as we're the staff. The food was quickly served once ordered and was of a high standard and tasted amazing. I had the 16oz steak with mushroom and bourbon sauce and would highly recommend it! The menu has a wide range of dishes to suit pretty much all people and was reasonably priced for the quality you get. The staff were very helpful and patient despite dealing with 25 thirsty people and thanks to the decent drinks menu including cocktails and spirits everyone seemed happy. We will definitely be going back in the near future and would recommend it either for a casual meal out or as a function room upstairs to celebrate events.

I came here last night with my wife and my brother in law and I couldn't fault it at all. As for the food, we'll that was out of this world. I had a perfectly cooked 16oz rib eye with 3 side dishes all of which I fully enjoyed. I would definitely come back here again and I highly recommend to anyone to go and have a meal as you will not be disappointed. You will also find the staff to be very helpful and polite, also before entering the restaurant you get and feel a warm feeling....

Best steak I've had in Hull and one of the best I've had in England. Great atmosphere, enough tables to accommodate most group sizes but not jammed in like sardines. Most recent visit I had the bone-in ribeye. Cooked to perfection, tender and seasoned brilliantly. Sides were great, good beer, friendly and attentive staff. Thoroughly recommended.
