Food is absolutely delicious, service was slow but was a busy Saturday. Was worth the wait. Top class burgers. I had the chicken and my partner had a double beef burger.
We had a cheesy chip side to share which was amazing. Love the beer and left feeling satisfied. Money well spent. Will be visiting again

Lovely place ,but I must say the portion sizes have gone down a but, I know cost of living and all that but just expect more last time, I love getting the chilli but I feel it use to come with more chilli and better dog ,, my friend always gets the burger and there bit small now ,I think bigger portions will bring more customers back and maybe some buffalo wings , a bit like aunt Bibby's use to Do,, just a suggestion :)

Good choice of food on the menu and good size portions only slight complaint was one burger was only luke warm

Absolutely LOVE the food here, the loaded fries are insane and the burgers are lovely!
However the last 2 visits have been a slight nightmare, for example on our last visit we didn’t receive our food for 1 hour and 45 minutes as there was a mistake by the waitress.
I understand mistakes happen and the food will always be worth the wait!!

Don't really know what goes in the "naughty" chip sauce... Seems to involve cheese and perhaps some sort of beer? But my god. It is dreamy. Naughty and very, very nice

Reasonably priced, good sized portions, consistently delicious. Have tried both takeaway and eat in options over the course of my avenues tenure and would recommend both.
It re-heats pretty well in the oven if you can't finish it all (probably a salmonella risk though so don't take this as advice).
Barman today seemed a bit like he was stoned; good vibes tho and lovely chap so no harm done.

Cannot rate highly enough, I live ~10 miles away and after speaking to their manager organised a special delivery to my house from the centre of Hull. Food arrived when I asked and in excellent condition. Food was amazing, just as a I remembered from living in the city.

I think this is one of the best restaurants in hull, fresh food, always consistent and taste good. Just high quality ingredients and fast service, friendly staff. Just a great environment overall. The loaded chips incredible😍

Really friendly, chilled service. Probably the best burger and fries I’ve had. Everything cooked to perfection. You can argue it’s not difficult to do burgers and fries well - but it is difficult to perfect them. Sensational find.
