A nice little fish and chip shop on whitefriergate. The staff are always pleasant and friendly, and the service is quick when I have been there. They have always had plenty of fish chips, patties, and spam fritters cooked already. The patties are particularly nice. I have always enjoyed the fish and chips from here. There is some outside seating.

Quite the find these days, a great local chippy that sells a flavoursome fish supper for a great price.
We were lucky enough to sit outside in the sun last time we went, but if you have plans to do pick up be ready to relocate because there isn't space inside - that's the only pointer!

Proper decent chippy. Proper chippy and really decent quality food. What else can be said? Highly Recommend. Miles better than Golden Fry and Carvers.

Lovely fish & chips, no over charging & lovely staff. Sausage chips & gravy is lush too. PS, everything cooked fresh, so may have to wait, but worth it!

Love this place and the fact they have their own outside seating is a major bonus for me, it's difficult for people like myself to eat on "the run" with baggage and a walking stick. The disability conscious attitude is very much appreciated.❤️

Been staying in Hull centre for 3 week's and just fancied a proper chippy tea, thank you very much the friary. Fish, chips and curry for £3.95. hmmm beautiful.
