Lovely relaxing place to drink coffee , oh and buy books too!!
Clean and well stocked. Friendly staff..............................
This Waterstones is such a lovely little place. A relaxed and friendly environment with a wide selection of books and where the cafe and staff are lovely. Prices for food and drinks there are very reasonable. When we come to Hull this is the place to stop by and have a drink and probably buy a book too.

The second Waterstones visited this week.
This branch, in Hull city centre, is bright and spacious with plenty of room for browsing.
Like other Waterstones the books and other products are attractively displayed so that you want to spend hours in there; there’s no sense of being rushed to make a purchase -staff are around but let you browse at your own pace.
I love the staircase up to the first floor-more books, gifts, a busy cafe and seating area snd the toilet.
The staff in the cafe are very welcoming and there’s a good selection of drinks, sandwiches and cakes.
I tried the cappuccino cake (delicious) and had a very good pot of Yorkshire tea.
Well worth a visit if you are in Hull city centre.
Great bookstore and great coffee place upstairs. The cakes are delicious and the staff are really friendly. A baby changing table would be a very useful addition to the toilet please✨
Took my children to the store. Lots to look at for them. Felt a little limited for me. Lovely space though and a nice atmosphere upstairs with the cafe. Struggled to find any books relating to my uni course topic which I was looking to buy. The kids came away with a good haul with their pocket money and vouchers. The cashier was lovely and told me about the Waterstones card which gave me enough points to use next time. The lift that a man used with his child in a buggy looked and sounded terrifying and he said it was. If budget allowed, an overhaul would be nice to be fully accessible to all. Overall, a nice store and great to see the chain surviving on the high street. We'll be back for more.
Staff very friendly and helpful in both the book store and the cafe. Such a pleasure to buy a book and have time to read it whilst enjoying tea and a hot sandwich. Felt quite valued as a customer and I loved the prevailing sense of humour.
Was looking for Torey Hayden books and the lady recommended Cathy Glass. Needless to say haven't stopped reading them since now read 6 so far.
Thank you for friendly awesome service.
And great cafe upstairs, the man who works in cafe is great and knows how to make customers smile and laugh.
I recently visited a café bookstore and had a wonderful time. They had a great variety of books, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered a hot chocolate and a latte, and they were both delicious. The hot chocolate was a perfect balance of richness and sweetness, Those had beautiful latte art on top.
I highly recommend this café bookstore to book and coffee lovers. It's a must-visit place with a wide selection of books, friendly staff, and tasty beverages.
Lovely cafe (although a little pricey)great staff
