Khasturi

This is my local curry house, but I've never ordered from it before... usually we order from west ewell HOWEVER, the quality of the food from our usual is not good, some new ones have opened up in chessington but they are just OK.... SO last Tuesday we ordered from Khasturi! well to say i was impressed is an understatement, the lamb madras was lean and tender and perfectly spiced, the aloo sag was creamy and delicious, the mushroom rice was light and flavourful, breads and poppadoms were great also. I couldn't fault it at all and I would recommend it to anyone in the area, call them direct and be patient if its the weekend! solid curry 8/10, my new favorite.

I promise you, you will not be disappointed! I would have taken pictures of food to share, but I already ate 3/4s of it.... Biryani's(lamb or chicken)- great, saag aloo- great, chilli paneer- great, chicken tandoori- great, some unnamed mushroom COMPLIMENTARY dish- the greatest! I wouldn't order paratha again BUT ONLY because their poppadoms are much nicer. We have had the pleasure to order 3 times, and there will be many many more. My tips: order over the phone- not app.( They came early each time) and treat them well- they will return your friendly approach with extras. That is no lie! And I do not think that the portions are small. Unless you're an elephant you'll be stuffed! Go on, call up!
