Tara Indian Restaurant

Absolutely love this restaurant for dinning in, it was cozy, and manager was the loveliest man, and was happy to chat and talk with us and full of information and knowledge that he was happy to share about the food and how they cook it. We was a group of 4, 1 person with allergies but they was more than accommodating to our needs, the food was full of flavour and the best I have had in a long time! I can’t do too much spice, so went mild and it was everything it promised to be! If you like hot and spicy go with the hot stuff, but if you prefer full herb and flavour then go mild. Food came out in great time and lovely and hot! We had starters, and main and was offered all the appetisers too. No alcohol served here but restaurant had to make a choice between keeping the electricity and gas on or serve alcohol but I think it was a good choice they made as the food is so good you should not ruin it with alcohol anyway. I really recommend you go in and eat there as the atmosphere is very nice but the staff are the true gem! I give them a full 10/10 for food and service! We will be back and hungry for more!

Called for a collection takeaway, 20 minutes later it was all ready when they said it would be, had a tikka masala and a chicken jalfrezi and it was probably the best takeaway jalfrezi I’ve had!! Really nice food, lovely staff when we went in to collect it, surprised there wasn’t more people sat in to eat as it was decorated lovely inside too. Will definitely go back :)

Just had a lovely date night at Tara Spice. Food was amazing as always. We haven't had a curry in ages and this just hit the spot. Everything was fresh and hot, service was great and didn't have to wait long for our food. Tara is a small restaurant but is we've always had great food from here. Fully recommend to anyone wanting incredible curry. We spent £60 which for drinks starters, curry, rice and naan each we didn't think was too bad at all. Definitely be going again with it being 5 mins round the corner from us.
