Amazing breakfast! Decent coffee. Really nice garlic mushrooms. 10/10 would gorge self here again! FULL!
I really liked the english breakfast on the menu, the mushroom and the sausages were tasty and the food was overall good.
Also the stuff was friendly and nice.
After spending a few weeks in Nottingham on a placement, i decided to venture out on one of my very rare days off and came across this little camouflaged cafe.
Towering over is the famous St. Mary's church, so the Hungry pumpkin is perfect for tired tourists or city wanderers.
The interior itself is warm and inviting, so i quickly sat down and was pleasantly surprised at the variety on offer.
I ordered a cappuccino and a salmon panini. The coffee itself was a beautiful Italian arabica, coated with chocolate powder and served with a small Italian biscuit on the side. Absolutely delicious. The panini was packed with smoked salmon and goats cheese, and was very tasty.
Price wise, it was similar to most cafes. I ought to try their full breakfasts next time, they look great.

What a place 😁 we've missed eating here as forget its shut on Sundays do made a point of being there Saturday. Gets busy and even though it was cold waiting outside we were sat down and eating within 20 minutes. Staff are very welcoming and cleary working hard all the time.

Since the first time I have been in this place, the guys welcomed me with happiness and joy letting me feel at comfortable, thing that they do with all the costumers because they are so friendly.
The smell of the food, the taste, how it looks like it’s just perfect, same as the coffee they do, it’s just wow!
I really recommend to try this place, because it will satisfy your mouth and your belly!
Probably my most visited lunch spot in Nottingham. I've tried a bit of everything they offer over the last 7 years both takeout and dine in.
Full English breakfast is great to start the day, wraps and salads great lunch options.
The staff here are always cheerful and happy which is nice too.
I do recommend going sightly off popular hours if you are wanting to dine in as there aren't many tables, but if it's full then get it to go, you won't be disappointed
Honestly this was one of the best breakfast places that I've ever been to. The food was simple but amazing, it came out quickly and was so tasty. The service was amazing, so friendly, sorted us a table real quick. We went there twice throughout four days and if we come back to Nottingham we will go there again.
This place has incredibly accommodating staff with plenty of delicious options on the menu. I had a full english breakfast, which was brilliant, at a very decent price. Coffee was great too! Will absolutely be back

We moved to Nottingham City a few weeks ago and The Hungry Pumpkin Cafe/Restaurant was on our short list to visit. It was easy to find, very cute outside, a few tables and chairs to sit and enjoy a meal on a quiet back road. Beautifully decorated inside, surprisingly large with quite a few tables to choose from. You can tell that the locals walk in and out throughout the day because many of them popped in to pick food up while we were there. The place is absolutely spotlessly clean. Andrea greeted us with the most welcoming smile, we instantly felt at home. The food is all home made, and the chef had no issues changing things up a bit with adding fresh vegetables to my husbands meal. Everything was so delicious and we finished every morsel on our plates. My hubby had dessert, and we ordered some to take home for later because it was scrumptious. If you're looking for a simple snack or a delicious home cooked meal, then visit The Hungry Pumpkin on High Pavement in Nottingham City Centre. We're definitely going to become regular visitors.
A great little cafe. Unassuming from the outside but warm, welcoming and bustling!
The food was fantastic, the special of the day was baked chorizo pasta which had great flavour and was a generous portion size - I wish I’d got a photo!
We ate in and there was a steady stream of customers - a testament to the great food and friendly staff!
Staff knew regulars and their orders and were so welcoming to all.

Very popular, busy cafe near the town centre. Staff were very helpful and our breakfast was delicious.
Love this place. Punches way above its weight. Intimate, superior service and exquisite food and of course coffee. Love the Italian pastries and always take to friends as gifts. Highly highly recommend. Keep doing what you’re doing.
