India Food 2 Go Kirkby

I am a keen curry enthusiast and I must say these guys really do it well. Fantastic flavours, always arrives piping hot which is great considering we are a 20 minute drive away! The meat is always cooked very well, the lamb is always very succulent when I have ordered it. Gone for a traditional Balti this evening - Can’t wait! 😃

Order pre 7pm wanting food for 10.30pm. 3 and half hours for them to prepare food and get it to us. They changed delivery to 11pm which is fine it was new years eve. However at midnight it was clear that our food wasn't going to arrive, my partner is a care worker and helps the vulnerable throughout this pandemic, and these clowns can't even let us know our food won't arrive. Our old regular Indian restaurant has turned into a joke because they are greedy and accept too many orders. Managers must be absolute clowns. Won't order from here again after years of ordering. Should have let us know you had so so long to either tell us or get us our food. Also, I paid £35 for 2 people, not the cheapest out there. Just go elsewhere or expect cold, late or no food.

I was a number one fan of another local curry house for twenty years and never enjoyed going anywhere else. I then became vegetarian, we tried this current house only because our existing curry house forgot one of our dishes! We came here as it was quick and local. We have not been back to our other curry house since. We also have a nut allergy and these do not cook With nuts which is great! Perfect curry house!

The food here is gorgeous, genuinely, but the service is appalling. Every time I have ordered from here the food has been late, by hours too. No effort to communicate this from them, and always unavailable to call. If you can't keep up with orders then don't accept them!!!!!! I hate to say it but I won't be using these guys again.
