Lovely little place to eat me and my husband have been a couple of times for breakfast and both times we have not been disappointed. The hot chocolate is one of my favourite. We are looking forward to trying one of their afternoon teas sometime and I have also heard good things about the evening menus too. First time I have visited and eaten at this idyllic Palms Bistro.
It was an Italian night. Being a Steak fanatic, after the tastiest of starters.
I went for the Rump Steak, cooked medium , the steak was produced with a fresh salad and fries pepper/garlic sauce.
I had a problem though. It was so succulent, tastie and cooked perfect. I could have eaten it again.
For a small Bistro, I was well surprised,
The atmosphere was friendly and warming.
Before I left, I booked for an evening Curry night in September.
The only downfall, is if you drink, you had to take your own. Which I will know next time.
Well Done Kirkby, it’s a little gem.
