Friendly staff and welcoming when I entered. The staff allowed me to look at the menu before ordering and where not pushing for a sale. The food ordered was cooked from fresh. The fish was excellent and tasted lovely. Food was still hot returning to the campsite. Our dog loved his battered sausage and gravy also, so highly recommend this Fish & Chip shop if you are in the area.

ON holiday down here from Glasgow This place is AMAZING I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone tonight to place my order minutes before 5pm food was ready for collection at 5.10pm and it didn't DISAPPOINT what a quick service and food DELICIOUS and cooked fresh I read lovely reviews about Archway fish & chips and chose this place for tonight's dinner and IM so glad we did the fish & chips and scampi WERE DELICIOUS and the wee tub of curry sauce to dip my chips into was yummy scrummy too. look forward to our next takeaway.

Thought we would try out this fish & chip shop whilst staying in the town. There are 2 others but they don't open on a Wednesday! Anyway great tasting food, chips were spot on. Great service but you'll have to wait a while as all food is cooked to order. You can eat in if you fancy it. Best chippy in Kirkby Stephen 👍🏻
