Just come home from a superb evening at the Bothy. The incredibly accommodating staff catered for a large party of us, with delicious food and wine for the group. The pizzas are spot on - highly recommended. Thanks for having us!

What a place! Absolutely gorgeous food. The nicest sandwich (sub) I've ever had! Beautifully made pizza's and excellent fresh tea too. We didn't sample the scrummy looking bakes on offer so we need to go back soon! Also very dog friendly and water on tap for them too. A fabby place x

Really great coffee and cakes. The staff were cheerful friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and would highly recommend The Bothy as a special place to rest and enjoy great service and quality food and drinks - go and try it, you will be glad you did - ps thanks for the tip about the wonderful Crevetii coffee which is served here 😀

Delicious pizzas (great dough!), cakes, wines and coffee - highly recommend you visit during your stay in Kirkby Stephen. Great vegan & vegetarian options, but also plenty of dishes for meat eaters.
Note: during the day you can access it through the outdoor shop, in the evening you'll have to go through the back road.
