Stopped in for some lunch and a couple pints. Ordered the beef and ale stew. The food was delicious, the stew and bread went incredibly well together. The bartender was a champ with how busy it was getting to everyone. When I come back to Kirkwall I will definitely visit again.

Very quiet, with Eastenders on the TVs when we visited. Left after one drink. The lady behind the bar was lovely.
Lovely little pub, with many interesting old photos on the walls. Food is good, service is fast. Only thing I didn't like: the music. I guess there's one of those modern jukeboxes, the choice of music is up to the customer and today I've been unlucky.
Staff were so friendly and the food was definitely a cut above the usual pub fare, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. Would recommend to others and would definitely come back!
