We always come back to the Ugly Duckling Tea Room for the delicious food( probably the best jacket potatoes I ever had), good coffee, relaxing atmosphere, and lovely staff. I highly recommend it.

We went late on a Sunday (29/10) morning with the family and had a great experience. All of the service staff were lovely and really accommodating (despite our three daughters different variations on pancakes and going out of their way to come up with a solution!). This will definitely be our go to stop when I’m Knaresborough from now on!

Went for breakfast this morning and we loved the place. Nice view of the river, with nice staff and a good homemade breakfast. Great for those with kids and dogs as well.

Lovely, friendly and prompt service by efficient staff. This is a dog friendly establishment and has home baked dog treats available on the counter. Airy conservatory, additional outdoor seating and pram and wheelchair friendly ramp for access. Sited on the riverside by the car park. Closed on Mondays. Sells nine different flavours of award winning ice creams - Grandpa Greene's. Licensed premises. Vegetarian options available. Children's menu. Home baking. Afternoon teas. Breakfasts served til 11.30 am. Jackets, sandwiches, soups and much more, all reasonably priced.

Lovely bustling tearoom. Well behaved dogs welcome. The service could have been slightly better, there was a mix up with our order but soon corrected. Seating outside next to the river. The coffee was nice. The bacon on the full cooked breakfast was of good quality, unfortunately the sausage wasn't up to the same standard. I definitely recommend, it's in a lovely setting.
