Had a very good Sunday lunch. We went with 9 of us. They looked after us very well and the food service was very quick. Some of the younger crew were still learning the ropes but otherwise very good. The beef was delicious. Good portions. Excellent wine list and good value. We bought a whole quiche at the farm shop later which was delicious and superb value.
This was hands down, the best full English breakfast I have ever had, and I do consider myself a connoisseur! The sausages were plump, meaty, tasty and well cooked, everything you would expect from a farm shop! The bacon, thick and smoked, full of flavour! The mushrooms big and juicy and the herb crusted tomatoes, a unique and tasty touch.
The staff were super friendly and made me feel special with a birthday cup cake.
If you want good service, good quality produce well cooked...this is the place for you!!
We visited for afternoon tea and cake. The cakes (two different chocolate ones and lemon drizzle) were excellent and the service particularly attentive. Sausages bought from the shop were described as the best ever by the carnivore in our house later that day.

The location is lovely with lots of outside seating and a big green space with a pond.
It’s dog friendly outside only, but was all good as it’s outside seating weather.
I've been eating full English breakfasts for too many years to mention. If you want the best ever breakfast you need to try the full cornish breakfast, just fantastic go with a big appetite or order thd mini one like my wife. Beautiful location and superb staff.
Lovely cafe and shop in gorgeous surroundings. We had tea and cake in the cafe which was lovely. Slightly over zealous staff who kept asking if we wanted anything else but still friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was swift, delicious, and of excellent quality! Kept us going all day!
Staff even delighted us with a surprise birthday cupcake for my wife's special day..

It's a FARM SHOP and RESTAURANT not a hotel Google!! And definitely one of the best around either to break your journey back to England or for a treat breakfast or lunch. The restaurant food is delicious, staff super helpful & friendly, everything on the shop is fresh, well presented and the selection of gifts well curated and great quality. On this visit we enjoyed a delicious lunch, picked up some bread and pastys for later and had a quick look round the shop. It's dog friendly, accessible for mobility aid users and in a beautiful location. There's nothing not to like here so make a point of going if you're in the area. Oh and it's an easy drive of for miles from the A30 towards Callington so if you're looking for a stop on the way down or up don't be out off by the distance.
My friend and I had small ploughman's lunches : very good sized portions.We also had tea and cakes : excellent quality and all cakes made fresh on the premises.We sat outside to eat.Lovely atmosphere,will definitely go there again.We had a quick look around the shop,the quality of the meat,cheese and fresh products looked amazing.Also good quality items for sale suitable for gifts.The staff were friendly and efficient.There was plenty of car park space.
Greeted by Charlie P who asked how we were and was very nice.
We ordered coffee and by the time we finished it we decided to stop for breakfast. Best decision ever because it was absolutely gorgeous, well cooked and just the right amount.
Charlie P came over and asked if we wanted the bill and we had a lovely chat about Brighton with her.... small world!
