Absolutely lovely food ,service was fantastic all home cooked definitely going back again
Manage to get a table for Saturday night and was delighted to receive fantastic friendly service and a lovely meal . Just wished all pubs had this high level of customer service .
The food was very nice and good size portion.
They have gone with good food of a restaurant quality.
Their is a very good selection of drinks with both draft beers, wine and spirits.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The new owners have spent a lot of money on the inside and have done a very good job making it a nice place to eat. Highly recommended.
Couldnt ask for a better Pub meal, Tasty, Generous portions, Prepared and served by friendly staff. Great menu at a greater price. Ive taken my whole family here on several occasions and it's been the best experience every time. You wont find a better meal for a long way! Ice cold beers and Evil deserts!

It's a lovely pub, with a great atmosphere and very friendly, personable staff.
The food was stunning and the pub clearly has a very talented Chef. The prices were very reasonable considering the standard and choice of the food.
It's also a dog friendly.

Came here twice while on holiday in August and both times the meals, service and staff were excellent. The 1st visit was as a family of 5 adults and 2 children and we all had different meals, everyone enjoyed their own and we all said it was the best meal we had had for a long time. Good value for money for the food that tastes great.

A great place for my birthday
Beautiful traditional pub and a great Sunday roast! Whilst staying in Bude we struggled to find somewhere that looked suitable for a pub lunch, and we were very happy dining here. The vegetarian nut roast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too.
We ate here twice over the last couple of weeks. The food was fantastic on both visits. We enjoyed homemade steak and ale pie, garlic bread, halloumi burger, sunday lunch and vegetarian nut roast. Ingredients were fresh, locally sourced, cooked perfectly and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner here last night. The staff were terrific and the ambience was just right. The food was amazing though. I can't compliment the chef enough for making me a gluten and dairy free starter that wasn't even on the menu. We will definitely be back.
