Excellent variety of Caribbean food with great service, friendly atmosphere and more than competitive pricing. What's not to like!
My last visit I was using the bike so didn't want to be overfull so I had the Chicken Express (with meat gravy) which always hits the spot provided I'm not ravenous as it's quite filling.
I come to leeds every 3 months for hospital appointments and I always stop here on my way home for a plate of soul food.

Wanted dumpling, but was offered Festival, (sugar dumpling), never heard that name before, unless it’s a Leeds thing, any food was good, costumer service good, what more does a man need. Belly full
Food is consistently good, tasty and very generous portion sizes. Good value for money.
I regularly travel here from Bradford. Never had any issues with the food or the service, always welcoming and happy to provide me with my preferred choices of chicken (I'm a breast man).
My second visit the food is great, the service is improving, so good. Can't get better food in Leeds than the now famous "Dutch Pot" it is goooood.
Its not really about customer service here, just the food which is normally on point. It's more catered to takeaways than dining in.
If you love Caribbean food then you will love this place.
Curried goat, beautiful, jerk chicken gorgeous and the southern fried chicken is fantastic.
For a cafe it has quite a nice atmosphere along with friendly helpful staff make new comers like me welcome.
One the best Caribbean spots in Leeds in my opinion. Delicious food and I even get the odd smile nowadays! My go to place for the good stuff!
