Love this pub!
The staff are polite and friendly and do a great job of the running of the pub. Good selection of drinks and local ales and the kitchen is quite nice, too.
There is a kids play area and outside seating, the screen inside are just right (not too many and not too many of them).
They can also do private events, too.
Highly recommended!
We wanted a bite to eat and then straight back to the road to our journey home . We visited on a Monday , eating from lunchtime menu . The bar staff weren't the most welcoming of people , but food was quick and freshly cooked .
Nice place, delicious food, great people, live music, nice playground for children, good beer, wonderful decor and clean. quiet neighborhood. I recommend everyone to visit this place :)
Lovely Pub nice and friendly owners I can't fault the venue. The only small issue we had was some remarks from a small group of youngsters, due to us being a different race and not "fitting in".
We just laughed and brushed it off.
Other than that, first time visit it is a nice well presented pub.
Took my parents out for a meal here last night and had an amazing meal. Caribbean. Pizza and dirty fries were a particular highlight but the all the food was really good including the stambford burger and seafood linguine. Staff were really attentive despite how hot it was and made sure we had plenty of drinks. Highly recommend coming here for food and I will be back again soon.
Came here for a Sunday Roast with lamb. Great taste lamb wa perfect, roasted potatoes were very tasty nicely seasoned. All in all a great dish and helpful staff.

A trip down memory lane to the pub we used to drink in regularly 15 years ago. What a lovely surprise! The place looked fantastic! No more bowling alley instead a lovely dining area. So nice to see the pub looking so good. We will definitely be back and will try the food next time!.
Absolutely lovely pub and the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much effort for them.The buffet was so tasty. We held our mum's wake there and everyone said mum would have loved it. Thank you very much for looking after everyone and making us feel so welcome !!!!
Went here for a family birthday meal and everybody thoroughly enjoyed their time here. The service was great, staff all friendly and attentive despite being really busy. Food was piping hot, fresh and delicious. We will be back to try out more of the menu since there was lots to choose from! The only feedback I have would be the specials and desserts on offer to be written down even if you print them out for the tables to make it a bit easier to choose - and would help the staff out on remembering them all and seeing what’s on offer during busier times.
