We have been to Frankie Bennies in the Highcross four times in the last three weeks and each time we have been very impressed. The service is fantastic and the food has been lovely each time. We would highly recommend the Big Breakfast, its amazing value for money and the bacon is to die for....the best I have ever had. The coffee is wonderful and as many refills as you want, we were even offered one to take out with us this morning.....well done Frankie and Bennies......we will be back next week!!!!
We had a family share that came out at £6 each. Beautiful big pastas and a big pita. The wine was good the dessert wAs good . Lovely to sit out eating and drinking .

Had 2 bad experiences at F+B at meridian so was hesitant to go in with friends. But it was actually great. Food was nice, service was friendly and quick, prices were a bit on the high side £4.70 for a lemonade with lime? Thought that was taking the Micky. But we were happy with the attention to my friend with multiple allergies, although he said his gluten free burger was ever so bland and had to drown it in sauce. But I liked my lasagne. Overall pretty decent.
Food was great, though there was only one waitress. And she seemed rushed off her feet not very friendly, either.
But we had an enjoyable time.

The food was great; Classic Cheese Burger & the Buffalo Chicken Fries / NY BBQ Chicken & Brisket Fries - along with a Cherry Cuba Libre recommended to us by our server, Vikki; who was fantastic! Super helpful & pleasant!
Service was 5/5 as well, didn't have to wait long at all and we were well looked after.
Definitely recommended & will be visiting again soon!

We had a little problem with our burger, but staff were very helpful and professional. They changed burger for us, then different staff members checked if everything is all right, so we felt welcomed. Thanks for our waitress Madison for taking a good care of us.
Came here for breakfast, before exploring the city, staff were all very friendly and helpful, as soon as we arrived, they checked we didn't have any allergies and was shown straight to a table.
There is a huge choice on the breakfast menu, from toast, wraps, French toast and full English.
This is a restaurant, where you get what you pay for, cheap and cheerful.
I visited F&B a couple of times with my fiend. Whenever we went, all the staffs were extremely kind. They asked us allergy. Felt friendly welcoming from the beginning. Agata was the best as usual, she took an order and explained everything such as we can change or add fries or sources and then served us food with explanation. The waitress who told us that day was her 2nd day of working was also very kind and she did a good job. She also explained us everything well, and asked us ' Is everything's good?, do you need anything else?' like that. Me and my friend were really satisfied everything. We will definitely come back again.
Really excellent food and service, Maisy treated us with absolute expertise. The only point I can fault on was that my wife asked for no cheese but her meal was brought out with cheese but it was very swiftly replaced by the manager. Absolutely outstanding.
Food was great, but cheese and bacon fries needed more of both to justify the price. Clazone was bigger than expected but very tasty. Chicken tenders were really crispy, wonderful. Could have also had another Pepsi float, but was full on the food. Service was great and was not waiting long to be served or checked on.
