Cod & Waffle

As usual, the food and value were up to normal high standards. The only thing that stopped a 5-star rating was the perfectly pleasant, but slightly lackadaisical and absentminded service. This is still one of our favourite places for a casual lunch out. EDIT. Having returned again, have to say the service needs some work. It should be the job of the waiting staff to be alert for when customers are looking for their attention, rather than having to literally call out so that they don’t just walk away when they have finished serving another table. This won’t stop us visiting but it’s just frustrating that this separates good from great.

I have eaten from here a few times. Usually as a take away, but recently in the restaurant. The food is delicious. One thing I like is the lack of grease that you normally get from a traditional fish and chips meal from your local "chippy"... I'm not going to lie, I do still love my local chip shop, but this is a refreshing change for those that would prefer less of the grease. The next thing is the great service, with a smile, and their attention to detail with kids allergies. My son has many allergies, and they handled the order perfectly. Will definitely go again and highly recommended.
