I ordered the Valentine's day afternoon tea which was delivered to our door at the allotted time. All the items were individually and carefully wrapped and labelled. We could not have been happier, the look on my wife's face was priceless. So many 'brownie' points for me. (Pardon the cake pun). Would highly recommend. Can't wait for lockdown to lift to be able to visit and experience the full Edwardian experience.

As per usual, fantastic service and food!!! We gave a very short notice due to last minute booking of our wedding ceremony in the middle of the pandemic, and Mr and Mrs Gearing have done their absolute best to get all the food and also our wedding cake done in the time and made us feel very special. Everything was wrapped, labelled and packed up neatly for us to take away and lot of the packages had little messages which warmed our hearts. Their service and personal touches are above beyond!!! I'm sure we will be going to their tea room for many many years to come! We cannot wait for these awful times to be over so we can go and enjoy some more of Lady Rose's delicious food and the wonderful company of Mr & Mrs Gearing. Once again, thank you for making the most important day in our lives even more special!

A wonderful place and experience. The afternoon tea is amazing, with the tallest scones I've ever seen and the best shortbread I've ever tasted. The staff are lovely and Mr Geary was happy to talk us through some of his favourite collection pieces on display in the cabinets. We have already put our names down for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes afternoon in which Holmes and Watson will be doing a reading of one of their mysteries while afternoon tea is served. Well worth a visit!

Treated my Mum to afternoon tea as an early Mother's day present today. I chose the My Fair Lady Cream Tea and it was delicious. Best afternoon tea I've ever had and reasonably priced also. The decor is lovely and in keeping with the Edwardian theme. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, they even wrapped up what we couldn't eat to take home with us. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you very much for a lovely experience :-) xxx

We were so lucky to find this wonderful tearoom. Splendid setting, delicious authentic cakes - best scones we have ever had. Warm, friendly & welcoming owners & efficient staff. One of our new favourite places. We can't wait to come in again.

Me, my mum, daughter and nephew visited the tea room today and had a really lovely afternoon. The food was top class and there's a really relaxing atmosphere. The lady and gentleman who own the tea room are really lovely and very friendly. We will definitely be going back. I'd highly recommend visiting and indulging in the Afternoon teas!

Inside a fairly unspectacular building nestles an authentic replica of an Edwardian tea room. Step back in time and enjoy some respite from the modern world. Enjoy having your tea served in china cups by a waitress who has stepped out of a bygone era. Treat yourself to a homemade teacake or even the wonderful high tea. Definitely worth a visit

We love this place so much, we visited three times in the week that we were in Lincoln. It's where teatime meets Edwardiana and there is great attention to detail in the surrounds, the service and the food. Everything is baked by Mr Gearing himself (check out his sky high scones) and enjoying tea, cake or afternoon tea here is an experience not to be missed. Worth every penny!
