The Swan Guest House

The Swan is an incredibly well run bar on the University Campus, staff are all incredibly friendly, pints are generally good and food is tasty and hot. There is a great amount of activities with pool tables (£1 a game) as well as board games (free to use). Wednesday night is karaoke night which is always highly popular and one of my favourite weekly events in Lincoln.

Came here yesterday, and it is the best little pub I have visited. Me and my friend paid £6.80 rather than £8.50 as we are students. I had the beef burger and chips which were amazing and cooked to perfection, whilst my friend had pulled pork and chips which were good. Lovely modern decor and has plenty of seating available outside. Staff are very friendly.

I booked my husbands surprise 60th birthday party upstairs at The Swan, a fabulous setting on Brayford Pool, that sits within the University Campus. We had a fantastic time and danced the night away. I have to say the staff were honestly, absolutely amazing and worked relentlessly throughout to ensure the party ran smoothly. The staff dealt with everything, from the food, filling up as required, through to the cutting of the cake. The food was good to, meat and veg pizzas were fabulous as was the buffet, and plenty of it. If your looking for a great venue, fantastic staff and good food then look no further. Great night had by all. Thank you all for making it such a great success 😊
