We’ve actually visited Mr Thomas’s a few times now and I can say the food is just as good as the first time we visited . We had the Haddock this last time when we visited and it was just delicious beautiful and white on the inside with crispy batter on the outside right down to the last bite , there’s always a generous serving of chips that come with it . The serving staff are always really friendly and with a smile on their faces, nothing is too much trouble if you need anything else during your meal . This won’t be our last visit,there’s many more to come .

1st time here with my daughter who lives here and had recommended this restaurant after our walk around Hollinsworth lake in Rochdale. The fish and chips were lovely and served by the professional and friendly staff looking forward to our next visit soon. 👍🏾

Food was absolutely delicious. The special of cod and prawn fish cake was great. The service wasn’t great maybe it was new staff - we all need to learn. I paid for sauce and didn’t receive it. I had to remind the staff of the orders, they were so busy, as the food is so good. This area needs to be worked on, they weren’t really Bothered.

Their large sized fish is £7 but it’s well worth the price. I was impressed with the size and quality.The fish was not flakey, more chunky. The batter was crispy and not overly greasy. It didn’t fall apart when I picked it up and even the far corners of the batter had fish on the inside. The chips were not greasy and the they were quite crispy and fluffy on the inside. The peas were nice and English curry sauce was okay. They also do regular and small size fish and chips. This is the best fish and chips I’ve tried in Rochdale

Lovely little traditional fish and chip restaurant on the main road, with a take away right next door. Clean, bright and friendly staff. The haddock was delicious with a light crisp batter and dry thick cut chips. Really excellent.

Food was surprisingly nice. Like the fact they let you put your own salt and vinegar. Chips crispy, tasty fish. Really glad we chose this place for lunch

Excellent , fresh fish. Chips could have been better but nice mushy peas. Lovely,friendly and efficient service by the two young waitresses.

My previous review was not taken in the way l presented it so lm rectifying it. Great overall restaurant. Who have helpful staff for the wheelchair user though one may have to wait for staff to accommodate you. Also allow all types of assistance dogs in.
