Delifonseca is the beautiful café bar downstairs from celebrated restaurant Fonseca’s on Stanley Street in Liverpool. This was the perfect place for an afternoon break as we only wanted a few nibbles, not a sit-down lunch. This area used to be the restaurant’s deli but it has been converted into a chilled-out wine bar, complete with upcycled red velvet theatre chairs, elegant chandeliers, embossed copper bar and ornate metal stools. It is also a café offering freshly made sandwiches, soups, salads and various items from the mini deli counter, to eat-in or take-away. The deli counter, although small, is visually appealing and boasts a fresh and colourful display of the delicacies on offer.
I would eat here everyday if I could! It is one of the best places to eat in Liverpool if you're looking for fresh food beautifully cooked and served by friendly staff. You have to go here or at the very least visit the deli downstairs. Whoever bakes the cakes deserves a medal!!
Great food: well seasoned and really tasty. Service was slow, at times, but since we were having a long dinner it didn't matter too much!
Lovely lunch here with my sisters yesterday. Between us we ordered the Lentil, ham and tomato soup, Hot Roast Beef Baguette, Belly Pork with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli and a vegan Sweet Potato, Butternut Squash and Coconut Curry. All thoroughly enjoyed. They have some vegan items on the menu here, which was a surprise and delicious. Great service and very friendly.
Great service and excellent food. Salad bar was great with the usual staples but also diffrent combos to try. So much meat offered to eat & cooked how you like it. Staff very friendly and cheerful and nothing to much trouble to make your experience just right. Hope this brand opens up in the south of uk.

Lovely little Deli & restaurant. I live down this way & I think its a little gem of a place where you can go for breakfast on your day off, collect a sandwich on your way from work or get your shopping from the deli.

Pleasant booth dining with friendly staff. Had a good steak and chips (where the chips were more like pleasantly fluffy oven baked potatoes) and a delicious steamed fruit desert.
DeliFonseca is what a real deli should be. Unusual products of superb quality that you don't find in supermarkets. The sandwiches are fantastic.
Its only downfall are the premises, no disabled access whatsoever, and I always have to leave my little boy stuck at the top of the stairs in his pram as I can't get him down the stairs. The first couple of times the staff helped me carry him down, but they don't bother any more.
Went to a private party on a Saturday evening. Very nice food and Bitburger lager. Good service and good atmosphere.
