Oh my, what a wondrous place!
A beautiful secret escape, that I had trouble finding, it's not obvious it's there if you haven't been before and I ended up walking past it several times before the penny dropped.
Oh Me, Oh My is set in a beautiful old building, West Africa House, on the ground floor, opposite the Liver Building. The tea house is spacious, open and decorated in a vintage Art Deco style. Beautiful - a truly perfect setting for afternoon tea.
It was nice to be presented with a choice of tea and an explanation of each tea, their properties and when best to sample the tea, before cake and after cake. The rose petal tea was beautiful and such a striking colour too. I also urge you to try the champagne casis tea, especially after some cake!
Our afternoon tea was a selection of beautiful sandwiches bursting with fillings and fresh fluffy bread, beautiful presented scones, cakes and treats. The scones were idillic and were light, sometimes scones can be too heavy but these were perfect. We then dived into the two layers of cakes, chocolate and almond gluten free brownie, creme brûlée with shortbread served in cute little espresso cups, mini meringue nests with summer fruits and a beautiful lemon drizzle cake!
All absolutely divine!
It was a perfect birthday treat for my mum, perfect cake and sandwiches, beautiful teas in a gorgeous setting. It was truly relaxing and absolutely enjoyable.
I had my 60th birthday at Oh Me, Oh My, yesterday with my wonderful family and dear friend. What a fantastic venue, the food was outstanding, as were your wonderful staff who were very accommodating and courteous throughout. What a great touch to have live music too, which we all thoroughly enjoyed, along with the spectacular views from your roof top terrace. I will be back, and will recommend you to everyone I know. Superb time had by all. Thank you xx
Wow - delectable sandwiches 🥪 and cakes with a lit sparkler 🧨. We had the English breakfast tea which was tasty and not too herbal tasting even though it was a special blend ☕️ The best mini Dane jug was the chicken pesto bacon one 🤤We went on a Thursday at lunchtime - it was very quiet but beautifully lit snd had candles (Christmas music was playing in late October but it was jazzy and gave atmosphere).
Feedback - the disabled loo hand dryer wasn’t working and the bin which was a foot pedal also didn’t work. This may be a problem for disabled customers.
Came here for an afternoon tea & was really impressed overall, compared to other high end places in Liverpool city this one is priced & has great quality food in it. My only complaint is that everything took too long, we waited 45 minutes for the sandwiches and cakes to be brought out and any hot drink we ordered took at least 15 minutes.
The staff serving were fantastic and very helpful, but I do think there needs to be more making the drinks.
The nicest afternoon tea I’ve ever had!
The savoury options were just as good as the sweets, and the setting was just as beautiful as the food! The service was lovely and to top it off, unlimited tea and hot chocolate. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
What an absolutely fantastic place this is. My favourite afternoon tea in ages, and our host was wonderful. One of our party is pregnant and they took time to go through the menu and offer alternate options with zero fuss. Lovely.
The tea selection was from Leaf (assuming they're owned by the same company maybe?), And the cakes were from heaven 😁
Fabulous afternoon tea for my mums birthday, booked last minute, the staff were really accommodating and we were very well looked after, food and cakes were delicious 😋 will definitely be booking again! Reasonably priced and lovely and relaxing, thank you
Oh Me Oh My, we went for afternoon tea for my wife's 40th birthday. The staff right from the start wad so helpful from opening the back disabled door so my wife could go in. The staff was very friendly and explained all the teas and the flavours/ingredients.
When they found out it was her birthday they got her a little cake with sparklers in it to celebrate. The food was amazing, the place was very clean and very spacious. Thanks to all the staff for making our experience there so nice.
Beautiful day and view which added to the roof top experience. Sandwiches and cakes were delicious though the bread was a little dry on the outside but putting that down to very hot weather.
Service was very good considering few staff and rushed off their feet. Also lovely choice of tea varieties
Amazing afternoon tea, a variety of various sandwiches and cakes that we actually couldn't finish but got offered a carryout then onto the rooftop for drinks in the sun, fabulous setting.
The place was really nice, been before for wedding party.
This was afternoon tea as a birthday treat. Food was really great and plenty of it.
Service was poor as I had to look for a highchair for baby it was tucked behind stairs, I couldn't get it, so someone finally came and got it for me.
Had a great experience with teas as the different varieties were explained very well.
Getting the bill was a bit slow, then it arrived twice as we were trying to pay the first one.
Apart from that we had a great time, definitely recommend especially for afternoon tea.
My Daughters wedding reception venue a few dags ago , what a fabulous place, big enough for a wedding but not so big that you miss seeing anyone, just right. Staff were the best, polite efficient and very good at what they do. As for the food it was fantastic, the bar prices were lower than I expected and plenty of bar staff on hand. The roof top bar was amazing, as the sun set and the surrounding buildings were lit everyone took photos. For a private function I can highly recommend Oh me oh my
