The Yacht Club Bar & Restaurant

We ate at the now named anchor, newly refurbished and only open 4 days. We had a breakfast and I'll say it was one the best breakfasts we've had. The staff where lovely and polite and price for on the dock where brilliant so will definitely be returning also to try more on the menu. Parking we had to pay for but you took the refund ticket to the bar and they take it off the bill.

Great spot close to Liverpool centre serving a great selection of food and drinks. We enjoyed a walk from otterspool promenade along the river Mersey and stumbled across the yacht club that is open to the public. Such a lovely place to sit and watch the boats come and go throughout the day. Plus the atmosphere was really welcoming and there were more than enough seats to sit outside on the terrace. Looking forward to returning.

Just had a lovely meal here. I went for the soup of the day which turned out to be French onion soup. It was different to usual in that it was full of croutons and was topped with cheese. One of the nicest soups I've ever had. Totally indulgent comfort food at it's naughtiest. Perfect. I also had fish and chips which was as good as it could be with tartare sauce and mushy peas and a great big fish with lovely batter. Would definitely recommend this place. Cozy and welcoming too

Klasse Restaurant! Preise gehen echt in Ordnung (£7 für ein "kleines" englisches Frühstück). Sehr bequeme Sitzplätze und ein super Ambiente am Yachthafen.
