We went for Sunday roast , the food was great and the staff were very friendly and gave very good service . We would recommend the Bear and staff .

Called in yesterday afternoon, after walking out of another restaurant due to bad service. We were made to feel so welcome by the bar staff. Waitress too was attentive and friendly. We ordered gourmet chicken burger and gourmet beef burger. Food arrived beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend and will be returning soon!! �����

Had a lovely lunch today. They do a really good steak, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The mini pud with hot drink was very good. Pete and colleagues looked after us very well and couldn't do enough to make our experience the best, thanks Pete for all your help.

First visit to the Bear for over 20 years last night. Food was excellent, and a fantastic choice for vegetarians. The staff team were first rate, very friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable evening and we won't leave it another 20 years until our next visit

Food was lovely and staff even better. I live off Allerton road so have loads of options available around here for food and drinks but the service in particular is faultless in the Bear and staff so prefer to go there now. I took my mum on Tuesday for food and drinks after work and was served by El and Josh. Nothing is too much for them and even at 18:30 when the whole restaurant area had every seat taken they still always manage to be genuinely happy and friendly and give the best service to all customers. Always checking everything is good and the efficiency was amazing. You don’t get that anywhere really anymore. Deffo be back soon and will highly recommend to friends and family.

A really smart place to stop by. It was neat and clean and looked really nice. You have to register your car if you park in their parking spaces just outside. We passed by just for a few moments and would definitely choose this place to stop by again.

Food was lovely as usual, staff were amazing as usual. I was with my husband having a nice Sunday dinner before we flew on our holidays. We always like to start our holiday with a really nice meal and Bear & Staff never disappoint. We would recommend it to everyone.

We usually coming in this place with my mum and really most of the staffs before are so accommodating but yesterday it wasn’t that great service as usual. The one who’s serving us was a new face to me. But, food always great and the place’s really cosy.

We visit the Bear and Staff regular, few bad experiences however our last two visits have been great. This evening we were served by Ellen and I have to say the service this lady gave is the absolute the best we have ever experienced, Peter as always gives exceptional service both members of are a credit to the brewery. Thank you to you both x

Lovely place ,nice staffs, nice food been drinking at the pub loads of time ,been dining here few time never disappointed. Nice place with great atmosphere. Will definitely be back again

This is one of our local pubs and have been coming here for years. Whilst the food isn't what it used to be, the staff have always been what have drawn us in. Particularly Peter, Josh and Eleanor - they are courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They deliver excellent service!
