A large pub , but felt warm and cosy . Busy but friendly vibe. Huge mixed grill for a mere £12.99! Can't wait to return:) All those moaning should go to the Savoy if they want service . What do they expect for £10 a meal? Marvelous value for pub grub
Haven't been here for years been done up lovely great atmosphere an the food was gorgus had pate for starters an chicken an mushroom pie with mash too full to have a dessert enjoyed every thing about it staff very friendly will be coming here again the girls liked their food as well xxx
Found myself in the area and thought I’d pop in for a pint and a burger. Solid choice and had a good chat with the manager Colin. Gave off a real community focused vibe. Will definitely be visiting again
The food was very nice, hot, and served quickly (within 20 minutes) I'm not however a fan of staff eating at the tables among the customers, just doesn't look good, plus, paying customers don't want to hear your work chatter whilst dining.
This is why most establishments don't allow staff to dine in the same area as customers, however, I'm not sure what your company policy is on this, I will seek clarification from head office.
Nice cosy pub, it’s my local so I visit regularly, staff are always nice and friendly, keeps us coming back, much better than the other pubs around
We came in on a Monday night and we were surprised to see that it was quite busy.
Molly greeted us as always at the door and informed us off the spare seats available as well as making us aware that there was also outside seating.
Food and service was impeccable as always we will definitely be returning again soon.

We love this pub. The beer garden is dog friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere inside and out. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Kads who made sure we had a good time from start to finish. We recently went for Sunday lunch and the food was all great and there’s a great kids menu.
It's always been a popular bar/restaurant. Good food although not a great vegan option. The staff are spot on and it's very clean. Well worth a visit and plenty of parking spaces.
We had a party booking for 20 as a couple of expats were home and catching up, and a new baby family member was being introduced. We pre-ordered for convenience and to ensure kitchen was informed. The pub was crowded but Steph and her team looked after us well.
Service was great, food was excellent and served in a timely manner - everyone was eating at the same time.
Staff are so friendly! Colin and AJ tonight were amazing! Couldn’t do enough to help!

Lovely local pub.. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff.. Especially the cockney bar man Kads!! Always has a smile on his face and goes the extra mile! Always 5 star service and delicious affordable food.

Guinness was good as ever
But hey guys get some sort or air distribution was a hot night and the air was the stalest I've found in any pub in the area
