Love this place the atmosphere, the staff especially Paul our lovely waiter who made our Daughter Alice's 19th birthday that extra bit special with the glass of Prosecco and free dessert with birthday message on. The Steak Diane is the best I've ever tasted it's simply divine and I could have licked the plate. All in all a fab place to spend an evening. Well done all involved �
Amazing restaurant and a fantastic way to celebrate our engagement an hour earlier! The waiter who served us was very polite, knowledgable, and very friendly! Thanks for a lovely night, my fiancé said his ox cheek dish was the best he’s ever had and that’s saying something as he’s eaten a lot of food in his time ! 😂 highly recommended 👍🏻We will be returning to celebrate future anniversaries as we all couldn’t fault the food and drinks. We had lunch here today and we really enjoyed it, the food was beautiful, we especially loved the Cider and Onion soup. The interior is stunning, lovely waiter very attentive and chatty, we will definitely be back soon
On July 23, I visited this restaurant on the same day I visited the British Open.
We had seen the atmosphere of the restaurant in pictures beforehand, but when we actually visited the restaurant, it was beautiful and the main floor was comfortable and spacious with plenty of seating. We also used a private room, which was spacious enough for our guests.
We had fish as our main course for dinner, and the chef did an excellent job.
The course was perfect, even the dessert was perfect, and it was a great memory of our stay in England.

It’s a very fun and busy place for having a dinner. The meat was delicious and the staff courteous. You should especially try the mashed potatoes!
We had a lovely family meal here last weekend, the food was amazing (a little cold for my liking) but great service from attentive staff and overall very nice.
I eaten here on a number of occasions and the food is very good, not cheap but most enjoyable! We were six colleagues, I think everyone had steak - which I'd expected Bar and Grill to say they specialise in - top class. Good wine list - also a little expensive - though I find this applies to most restaurants now.
We booked a meal for a Saturday evening. The food and drinks were lovely, service was good and the restaurant is beautiful. I ordered my steak well done, and unfortunately it was very rare in the middle but charred on the outside.
FYI though on a Saturday, the music is very loud so it's not a place for a romantic meal, or if you want to have a conversation!
I went on a Saturday night so it was packed with beautiful people! I sat by the bar, the VIBES were BANGIN, the music was loud, The cocktails and drinks were beautiful, the Bartenders made my night! Though they were short-staffed and overworked they were still friendly and I don't know what your paying them but you should probably give the bar manager and the younger bartender (I think his name was Micheal) a RAISE!
My first time here but not my last. Was in town for the football and this restaurant was recommended by a friend so thought I would give it a try - Normally head to San Carlo which is close by. Had oysters and Lobster Linguini both were amazing. The other guest had steak and they were overjoyed with their meals. The decor was incredible the toilets were spotless. Quite an extensive menu so you wouldn't be left wanting that's for sure. Most importantly the staff were impeccable and could not do enough to help they all had great understanding of the menu. We were late and thankfully they pushed back our table even though we didn't advise them that we would be. Worth noting this restaurant is very popular and was at full capacity so please book in advance. Big thank you
We had a lovely meal here to celebrate our 40th anniversary (9/9/23).
From start to finish the food and service was faultless ( thank you Nick, the lady that welcomed us, and the rest of the team!)Thank you for making our evening extra special, it was really appreciated !
Although we no longer live in Liverpool, its still our “home” and where we were married and when we do come home, we always like to dine at the Bar and Grill.
I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly, we hope to visit again soon, many thanks!

We came here to celebrate our son’s graduation. The food was excellent but, more importantly, the staff were lovely. The service was great and they made a real fuss of our son with a complimentary glass of champagne and a cake at the end — it helped make a very special day.
