Such incredible staff! we're always greeted with a smile and leave with one too, they always go the extra mile to make every trip perfect. A beautiful panoramic location by the water, excellent food and portions, top notch service, great prices. One of our favourites, can't praise it enough.

Stunning view , panoramic Mersey vista . Carvery and vegan option wholesome and plentiful. Service, forgot about dessert that needed reminding but very apologetic. Relaxed and good afternoon out .

I love the carvery, views and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Price is spot on too. A really nice and affordable way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I came with my boyfriend and 4 month old. We will be back again.

Lovely helpful staff. Great carvery. Wonderful view of the river. Took my Mum out on Easter Sunday. They fitted us in despite no booking. A nice trip out.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The food is delicious, and the staff, especially Antonella, truly make you feel at home. I highly recommend this place if you're seeking a relaxed atmosphere and excellent cuisine. Five stars for the establishment, but Antonella deserves six!

The Britannia pub is a large place but inside it has a cosy feel to it. There is a small snug area where you can keep warm on cold days.
If your riding up horseshoe pass its that last chance you will get before you're ascent to the top of the hill.

Not been for a long time. I have to say the customer service is a lot better than it used to be. It's excellent. There was no eggs which wasn't an issue. The food was nicer than it used to be. It was cleaner than it used to be as well. I hope this continues and we will be back more often.

Visited this place for the first time for a Sunday lunch. It was very busy when we arrived so we were glad we booked in advance. Food and drinks are ordered by scanning a QR code on the table, then ordering through your phone. Despite being busy, the service was quite quick, and the carvery wasn't bad. The meat was cut a bit too thin for my liking, but was otherwise ok. The prices were also reasonable, so a decent place to visit, and I think we'll be visiting again when we're in area.

We visited tonight for our tea. First time visiting and will definitely be coming back! The service was wonderful. John especially was amazing and helpful. I ordered a pepperoni Pizza and it was the nicest pizza I think I’ve ever had! So will definitely be returning for a pizza and myself and my family hope John will be there when we do.

Always a pleasant time here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and is served quickly at a very reasonable price. Good value for money deals, too. Nice river views when it's not too busy and there's window seats available. Highly recommend
