Lovely store, friendly atmosphere and staff. My partner and I went multiple times over the weekend as we where in Liverpool for ComicCon. Couldn't recommend enough as a really nice and chill place to play games especially if you're in Liverpool on a city break. Food and milkshakes are delicious and staff have great knowledgable of the games they sell and host events for.

The staff know what they are talking about when it comes to what kind of games they have available. They have different nights playing everything from d&d to magic the gathering and if they don't have a thing what you are looking for they will try and look for something similar. There always adding dates to cater for more people to play different types of games They have a good selection of food and drink and a few snacks. If you are vigen the also have a small selection to choose from.

It has been completely reformed in the last 6 months or so. Little things make a big difference and seeing simple things like drinks in the fridge to purchase and variety of stock on offer go a long way. They seem to be continually adding things now and it is obvious they are trying to make it a welcoming place for all types of gamers. I have seen groups playing DnD, magic the gathering, just using it as a space to chill, and last time I was there it seemed like they were gearing up to open a small retro video game section of some sort. My only suggestion would be to try and increase the number of board games on offer for people to play. But I am aware that this is likely down to donations. Staff are all great, friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place I would recommend.
