As a Turkish person I can say from the bottom of my heart that this is an amazing restaurant to have turkish food. The prices are really good according to the quality of the foods. The dishes are really delicious and the mezes that they serve as treat are amazing too. The only thing that you should keep in mind that you shouldnt forget to reserve a table before you go there. Otherwise you may need to wait a little bit because of the queue which is a result of its delicious foods.

Excellent Turkish restaurant in Harringay. My partner is turkish and swooned over this place. We got WAY to much food (see photo's), so make sure you order only a few things, then order more if you are still hungry. The service and ambience were great and just based on the sheer number of turkish people here you know it is a quality place. Will definitely be back!

Gokyuzu opened in 1999 and has tripled in size since then. Set in the heart of ‘little Turkey”, amongst dozens of  other busy Turkish restaurants, you can normally get a table if you are prepared to wait. Well staffed, the service is swift and friendly. Once seated, freshly baked bread, a large mixed salad with pomegranate sauce and lemon juice, and a small bowl of  yogurt, garlic and dill  is brought to the table. The bread is thin and very good, the salad has that mixture of sour and sweet which complements the crunchy red cabbage and carrots very well. We ordered Ayran, the slightly salted blended yogurt drink which was very refreshing on such a warm evening.

Excellent food and service. Definetly recommend. Free complementary turkish tea at the end. Food was very filling. Ordered the small platter which is for 2-3 people however was too much food for even four people.

Right at the corner of the small shopping centre there is a Turkish, Gokyuzu & Kervan, cafe serving what we have come to know as kebab shop fair but in a seated setting. The long food bar had rows of seasoned meat on skewers ready to grill. The doner kebab twirled on the rotisserie. The interior was simple and practical. It was very much geared to in – out. We started with complimentary bread, cacik (yoghurt with garlic and cucumber) and salad. As we are huge fans of Kisir (bulgur, parsley, tomato, onion, garlic), we also opted for this too. For main, we both went for shish. I had lamb, Valentina had chicken. They came with rice , grilled onion and a hefty fresh salad. . It’s quite a clean way of eating with the food mostly grilled, not fried. Gokyuzu & Kervan is not a revelation when it comes to food, but for convenience and cost effectiveness, it’s a great stop when in Wood Green. It was less than £20 including drinks. Simple yet abundant Turkish food. One of the best Turkish restaurants to dine in. The food is amazing everything fresh and juicy- you could taste it! Reasonable pricing because of the location and interior.

The best part of this whole experience is that I felt like I was at home.

This is the best kebab I've ever had. This is probably the best kebab place in London.

They'll offer you free bread and dip to start.
The bread is freshly baked for you so its always warm and soft yet there's the crunchy outer layer. The bread is always freshly made because there's almost always a full house of customers. They even have this huge fancy clay oven for the bread baking.

Their staff are professional, quick and organised. There is no messing about. once you are seated, your bread, dips and drinks come immediately. They are ridiculously efficient.

I had the pleasure of dining with 3 others. I was grateful that I hadn't eaten anything all day up to that point, because we ordered the large mixed platter. You get SO MUCH food.
I usually prefer lamb kebabs generally over chicken. With the kebabs here, I had no favourite because they are all as good as each other. I savoured every moment.

There is a reason why this place is always busy.
If you consider yourself a kebab fan, then this is a place you just have to go to.

The most amazing, fresh and authentic Turkish food I've ever had. Would recommend. Free salad, bread, tzatziki and Turkish tea, who could complain?

The best Turkish restaurant in london and I can confirm it that their competitors are only in Turkey. If youblove kebabs I suggest you to eat mix grill platter. Great for one person who like eating buffet in terms of quantity. For 2 I would suggest full platter for £25/30. Someone will get zero to full in one meal. I have observed that it takes really long time to finish food so make sure you have plenty time in hand. Dont expect staff to be attentive but you wont need them anyways disturbing you every now and then.

Pros- free salad and unlimited Turkish naan bread

Very nice staff, very polite, treat you like royalty! The food here is delicious and likely to fill you up for the best 3 days. As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were greeted warmly. Very quickly after sitting down, we are provided with warm bread and a big salad bowl. This is important to note because I've been to other places and waited 10 minutes for bread and salad to arrive! The meal was substantial and our bill came to approximately £24 for 2 people.

I have been eating here for years for and I cannot fault this place. Sometimes for family birthdays too. The service, food and drink is always good. We always get the meat platter which is yummy and filling. But recently I ordered something different, which was the Moussaka and it was so yummy!! So I recommend anything from the menu.

Came here for Valentine’s Day and was not disappointed at all!! Me and my partner ordered a share platter and as soon as our order was made we was presented with a complimentary salad and bread and the best tasting hummus. I could’ve just had that for dinner, I promise. Our food came in no long time and it was so delicious. It’s a huge platter of food that says feeds two, but could probably feed more. We really enjoyed the food. We also order cocktails which tasted excellent. We really enjoyed our time here. The service was great, no complaints whatsoever.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere!! 5* all round. Best food I've had in a long time. Food was full of flavour from the meats down to the bread, right down to the salad!! Definitely will be returning. Ambience was perfect, at 1 point they dimmed the lights and it just made the dining experience even more pleasant. Looks like your average Turkish restaurant but I promise you it's more than that. Finished off perfectly with a nice cup of complementary Turkish tea to aid digestion! Had to come back again. This time I made space for dessert!

Honestly one of the tastiest and juiciest Chicken Kebabs I’ve ever had. Can also highly recommend the falafel main dish. The restaurant is very big and well decorated, and the service is very attentive. Only downside is that it is a tad over priced , and what’s with charging £5.50 for a large bottle of water?! Our fault for ordering it without consulting the menu but for sure will be sticking to tap water next time, because that price is just insane.

I visited here on a Sunday afternoon after reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google. My experience aligned with what others have shared. I was very quickly seated, and all of the staff with whom I interacted were friendly. The portions are very generous - I was given a sizable bowl of salad, along with tzatziki yogurt and a basket of pita bread slices. The hummus was nicely presented - albeit, a bit too acidic. I ordered the lamb chops with rice. So much food that I ended up taking about half of it home! At the end of the meal, my waitress kindly treated me to a cup of Turkish tea. Great visit, and I will surely be returning.

Great experience. We had a table for 6 outside and the experience was just fantastic. Service, as usual from Turkish restaurants, was impeccable. Food quality was very good and tasty. Food gets prepared on a regular basis so super fresh. You can see all kitchen staff preparing food all the time and leaving the kitchen empty at the end of the night. There are other nice places around but this one was the best so far. I’m keen to know the area more in depth and keep trying but will be difficult to pass by and not going back in. Coffee was superbly served. Overall price is extremely cheap for the quality they offer. Lamb chops were great, chicken amazing. All sauces were outstanding. Will come back for sure.

Really delicious food, always packed. Very generous portions, and also a lot of complimentary starters. We were left completely full once we’d finished our meals. Decently priced. We had a starter, a main and a beer each and paid £40 inc service charge. Good vegetarian options and plenty of them. I had the tabouleh and halloumi pide, my partner had dumplings and quail. Attentive staff. Will say it’s a little loud, meant we had to talk a little louder to hear each other. The place came highly recommended from our friends and now we can only add to it.

For the tastiest Turkish food, you have got to pay Green Lanes a visit. Staff were so friendly and polite. Had a friend who's allergic to garlic, one of the servers, Ali was so caring and attentive and made sure there was no garlic nearby, he even moved the sauce. We ordered the lamb chops which were garlic free, a lentil soup and mixed shish. Bread, salad and tzatziki was complimentary as well as the Turkish tea. All so lovely, didn't take too long either. They even came to resolve the wobbly table. We always come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gökyüzü, a restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The highlight of the visit, however, was undoubtedly the food. Each dish was a testament to the rich and vibrant flavors of Turkish cuisine. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making each course a feast for both the palate and the eyes. In conclusion, my visit to Gökyüzü was nothing short of delightful. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere and exquisite food earns this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star rating. I highly recommend Gökyüzü to anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable Turkish dining experience.
