A lot of variety of Vietnamese food. As with many other Vietnamese restaurant, this is a no fuss place, but with good food. We had the prawn spring roll, plus a variety of noodles.

Spring roll was fresh but perhaps would be better if they can pack more prawns and vegetable into it.

For the noodles, they have a variety of broth - spicy beef broth, non-spicy beef broth, chicken broth and also just vegetable broth. The selection is good especially for those who don't take beef. I ordered the spicy noodles. Broth had good taste, but not really spicy.

One other comment is that they are quite stingy with the plate of fresh vegetable that you normally get when you order the noodle soup. We were four of us, and they gave us only one plate of this vegetable.

This little gem doesn't give much allure from the outside and has really simple interiors, like a Vietnamese café, but serves some of the best food I've had in a long time, beating even my all time favourite in Osaka where I was introduced to this cuisine by a foodie friend. The dishes are presented in a minimalist way and the bright colours and scents do the trick of making you rush on your food, good excuse for the almost complete lack of photos. I've been lucky and my friends agreed to share everything, so we went through summer rolls, crispy spring rolls, bbq satay chicken baguette, chicken and prawn omelet, seafood pho, stir fryed lamb with peanuts dressing, chicken satay with rice noodles, spicy seafood noodles. Ginger and tofu in coconut milk and the Vietnamese coffee ended this glorious meal magnificently. As you can guess we had to take a long walk after, to help burn all of this but it was so worth it!! My absolute favourite have been the cryspy rolls, the baguette and the lamb, even if I'm still salivating for the scallops in the seafood noodles. The prices are a great deal, but be warned that on the weekends they have the dinner menu at lunch as well and is more expensive; the staff is efficency and welcoming and the relaxed vibe, cafe style, is perfect for a quick bite and some indulgence.

An unexpected surprise! It was the first specialty restaurant from our hostel. And it turned out quite fun. The location is very convenient - just off the euston road. Walkable from Kings Cross station. The ambience is rustic and cosy. The service was real fun. We asked about Vietnamese lingo and traditions which they were more than happy to share with us. The food was simply delightful. The staff really tell us in detail of the dishes and preparation. Plus students get a discount. Overall a wonderful experience!

This is my new discovery I don't even want to tell anyone it's that good! Vietnamese in London is good in general but coming here I experienced the level above. so many dishes to choose from and many dishes I haven't seen in other places. still very down to earth kind of place. friendly staff , good food. I can't wait to go back .

But Sen Viet was excellent, and deliciously cheap. With a menu longer than the bible it took a while to choose anything, but the sauce on my Thit Heo Kho (pork belly cooked in coconut juice, with eggs) was hot and sweet, and the pork belly melted like butter – which made it almost impossible to eat with chopsticks. Sadly, instead of whole eggs I got a strange almost potato-like cake of it with a bizarre texture, but that couldn't spoil the gorgeous meat and glorious gloop. Even the beer was super – they only had one type called Saigon, which had a Belgian-esque sweetness to it, presumably a happy hangover from French occupation, but slipped down like a drunken penguin on a glacier.

We were at MC's place for dinner one evening when he brought out some Vietnamese noodle soup that he got from a local takeaway. While I didn't get a chance to sample it - the dinner was a spread, Wife kept on telling me how good it was after the meal and I had to ask MC for the contact details just to placate her. MC was traveling then and didn't have the number or the address but he gave us the name - Sen Viet and it's located just next to Thai Aubergine. When we eventually find Sen Viet along King's Cross Road, its somewhat dismayed facade gave no hint of its clean cut and almost swanky interior (with Mariah Carey's Hero playing in the background) I could hardly be blamed to think that everything looked brand new because they actually are. Barely a month old, Sen Viet was already g

If you're looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant to go to in Central London - this one is my favorite! Food is so good, but with service, expect it to be quite efficient. Everyone in your group has to be there before being seated as this is quite a popular place. They have a selection of Vietnamese noodles which are really good. The last time I went, I went for their starter platter to share and it was really really good! I loved all the sensational flavors and especially loved the summer spring rolls! I also had the fried ice cream for dessert for nostalgia sake (it was not as good as I had hoped it to be - the skin was a bit too thick, and the ice cream was not a very good quality ice cream). Nonetheless, I enjoyed the food thoroughly! I highly recommend and would come back again myself!

Good solid food. Service was fast despite it being crowded. Felt like the broth for the pho was clean and light, but still had some depth to it. The prawn and pork rice paper rolls were a little dry, and possibly a little small in portion size. Despite this, food was overall pretty good for the price

I would have given it a 5* but I had to deduct one because of the mouse I saw scuttle across the entrance. The food was great and service quick. A clearly popular little joint as there was a high turnover of tables.

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant. In particular, their sharing starter has a good variety and seemed very popular with customers as I saw many people ordering it. Their deep fried ice cream also seemed popular, and it was delicious! The ice cream had a stretchy, deep-fried coating, which was tasty but a little difficult to cut into.

Had the bun ca nuong - fried spring roll was soo good! Generous portion of well marinated lemongrass chicken, slightly diff from usual bun ca nuong. Friend has bun ca pork which wasn’t bad too. Fried ice cream was interesting, a tad too sweet with the condensed milk drizzle

really like this restaurant. summer rolls with pork and prawn are really good, as are the shaking beef and rare/well cooked beef pho 😍 second time here in about four days and am sure I’ll be back! also, as far as I’m aware they do take card now so don’t worry about bringing cash

Very nice authentic Vietnamese food, chargrilled pork and beef, fried spring roll are the best in London ever had. Only thing is very hot in the restaurant, no ventilation and environment is very noisy.
