A characteristics Pub, the bear it's really good, the atmosphere relaxed, enjoy a sunny day outside, there are to many table and chair in the sidewalk.

Spontaneously grabbed a quick drink here one sunny evening and saw other tables ordering pizzas that looked really good. The menu only really had a plain tomato and garlic pizza suitable for vegans but we thought we'd try it anyway so went in to double check about the base and the chef came out and said he'd make something bespoke. And it was the best pizza we've had in ages - generous with the veg, not too oily, light and airy base. Many thanks to that chef!

Went here a couple times on our recent trip to London (March 2022). Had dinner on our first night in town and beers on another night. Very nice staff, good food. First night one of their regulars was playing piano and next visit they were having a trivia game night. Great local pub, lots of fun. Will visit again when we get back to London.
