The Basement Tea Rooms

Cute and cozy spot with excellent tea and good energy. Harry, who was running the Tea Rooms when we visited, was very welcoming and helpful. We had a pot of the red berry tea for 2 and it easily satisfied 4 people. It was affordable and delicious, and we would definitely come back for more. It is also right under the Amy Winehouse statue, which was an bonus! We admired the spirit Harry naturally had, softly singing to the music in the background. He even played a song I suggested. Thank you for your kindness!

Adorable place, I had the tea for 2 but it was impossible for me to finish my side so I would recommend having it with 3 or 4 people, delicious scones and fruit for a relatively low price and lovely decor, and the gentleman who worked there was really nice and helpful, although I felt like they should have more people working there at 1 time, so when it's busy it think you'd have to wait a bit :)

Authentic British Tea Room!! Tasty tea and very good scones with cream and jam, and at a affordable price. Not hard to find, you just have to know that the place is in the basement of Camden Market. Do a U-Turn on your left hand side as soon as you are at the bottom of the stairs. The tea room is straight at the end.
