This little place has been going through MANY refurbishments in the many years I have been in London.
Food is amazing most of all the mixed grill served on naan .
Don't understand why they charge more to eat in, I mean they have no serving staff, you just order at the counter and the guy just says your food is ready, and you go pick it up.
Great place for traditional indian food, loved the Lamb Chops karahi was just right with spice & tase. Also loved the chicken biryani. I would certainly visit again soon.
Another Home Delivery Order.
Excellent lamb samosas. Crispy, right size and the filling was perfectly spiced.
The chicken chapli kebab was a good innovation. Its normally made from mutton or beef and those tend to get a little chewy because of the cooking process and quality of meat used. The chicken was much less chewy, but a little low on spice for us.
The lamb haleem was one of the better ones that I have eaten in London (the only one better than Lahore Grill's that I have tried so far is Dishoom in Covent Garden)
The nihari (a large mutton shank with a marrow bone that is stewed overnight) was delightful. Not too glutinuous, but just right. again a beautiful balance of spices.
The chicken biryani was good, but personally I wouldn't put it in the "order again" category.
The grilled baby chicken with spicy sauce was the only disappointment. There was hardly any spicing and it came with bits of coal char on it, which always ruins the food experience for me.
Some of the items are really good, while others are middling. It will be a bit of a trial & error process to find what works best for you.
Our staff had a big order from this restaurant. The food was divine. Beautiful flavours. It's safe to say everyone was happy.
I cannot wait to order from here for my family. They will love it.
My mother and I stumbled upon this quaint restaurant by accident. She saw a nice looking dish and jokingly asked if we should eat there and I took her up on the offer. So we both entered and ordered the food we saw in the window neither one wanting to chicken out and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. In London good tasting, flavourful and well cooked food is a luxury of sorts.
I would highly recommend their biryani as being the best in Central London and also would recommend a side of their chicken wings... which are healthily grilled and remarkably tasty.
I have never been to this place but ordered food through justeat. I ordered some biryanis to test the place out. The veg one was amazing - lived up to all expectations; the lamb one was ok - the lamb was perhaps just a bit overdone and seemed as if added to the rice later rather than cooked along side. None the less a tasty home delivery option - although beware the delivery times can be long (mine took 75min or so)
Many words can be used to summarise the delightful choice of restaurant that this is. I have visited on several occasions and can say with some conviction, this is a place to come to! As someone who is not always generous with compliments, I find it hard not to acknowledge the excellent service by the staff (who are always willing to comply with your request for birthdays, celebrations etc.). the easy-to-find location and of course most importantly the cuisine. I advise that you order some lamb chops as starters, the meat is very juicy and tender. As a main course, you will definitely enjoy the Nihari, Butter Chicken and Palak Ghosht. If a quick bite is what you are after, get a kebab roll wrap! Fantastic Place, London needs more restaurants like this.
This is one of my go to restaurants. Some of my favorite things here are the chicken karahi, the nihari, and garlic naan. The food is all great and rich and the restaurant is very clean. I often order take out and call in my order then come pick it up. I believe they also deliver in case you're feeling a bit lazy. Also, I recommend going in on a Sunday morning - their halwa puri special is not to be missed!
Lahore Biryani: A Culinary Gem on Edgware Road
Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Edgware Road, 'Lahore Biryani' may be a small restaurant, but it exudes an extraordinary warmth that envelops you the moment you step inside. The naan, an essential accompaniment to any Indian meal, is flawlessly prepared, offering the perfect balance of softness and a touch of crispiness. But what truly stole our hearts was the 'Karak Chai,' a comforting brew with just the right blend of spices and a fragrant aroma, making it an ideal way to wrap up your meal.

Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend 'Lahore Biryani' to anyone in search of an unforgettable Indian culinary journey in the heart of Edgware Road.
Best Pakistani food in London, I believe so! I highly recommend EVERYONE make a visit to this place. We had great chicken karahi and chicken biryani here. I do want to caveat this by saying we stopped by here to get a wrap (chicken tikka) to go on a different day. It was not good at all and VERY bland. So the 5 star is specifically for the karahi and biryani we had.
Lastly, if you are looking for a nice sitdown place this isn't the place for you. The place is more of a take out place with 3 tables inside. What do you value? Really good food or a nice ambiance?
Lovely food...all halal..Nice clean place too and good service desi tea available
Easy to miss Lahore Grill is a hidden gem! its not on the main road just on the side. Next to Dosa. Lahore Grill have very Beautiful food! Lovely staff. Can't wait to come again. Is my new spot as restaurant when I'm around in Edgware Road area. :)
One of the best Indian Restaurant in the area. Food was delicious and taste was brilliant. very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Chicken/Lamb curry on Rice is banging it’s a must try!!!
Unfortunately it’s not easy to find this place on Edgware Road, it is located right behind another restaurant that is facing the main road.
If you are on the main road you won’t be able to see this restaurant you have to walk through a alley.
Little gem just on the corner of Edgware Rd. Food was delicious. Had lamb curry and nan. Very welcoming and lovely staff. This is my new spot in Edgware Rd.
Great Lamb Korma, such a little gem just off Edgware Road! Owners are lovey, just remember to being cash!
Lovely service, real simple sit down, Amazing food - haleem and biryani and nihari
This is gem of a place. I walked in and with the help of very pleasant waiter ordered the Lamb Haleem with a lot of excitement and expectation. What came back was a delicious, mouth watering, colorfully garnished, generously gingered, perfectly cooked, hot plate of heaven. Not food. Heaven.
